WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The No. 2-ranked West Liberty University men's basketball team tips off the 2018-19 season tonight against perennial PSAC power Kutztown (Pa.) in the first game of the annual MEC/PSAC Challenge.

Ben Howlett's Hilltoppers and the visiting Golden Bears tip off at 5:30 p.m. in the first game of the Friday night doubleheader. West Virginia Wesleyan and West Chester (Pa.) follow at 7:30 p.m.

Preseason All-American
Dalton Bolon heads a strong returning cast for Howlett, who earned MEC Coach of the Year honors after leading WLU to a conference championship and NCAA Tournament berth in his first season at the helm.
Veteran Golden Bears head coach Bernie Driscoll has more than 300 wins under his belt and has guided Kutztown to three straight 20-win seasons. He looks to keep right on rolling behind Preseason All-American Anthony Lee and PSAC East Freshman of the Year Moe Williams.
