DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Unbeaten Embry-Riddle (Fla.) used a record-breaking second half to rally past the West Liberty University women, 104-89, in non-conference play here Saturday at the ICI Center.

Kyle Cooper's Hilltoppers (4-3) opened up a 52-46 halftime lead only to see the Eagles (5-0) score the first 15 points of the second half to take command.
West Liberty battled back to trail just 74-72 heading into the fourth quarter but Embry-Riddle shot better than 70 percent from the floor over the final 10 minutes and pulled away to the double-digit win.
The hosts, who didn't play their first varsity women's basketball game until the 2014-15 season, outscored WLU by a 58-37 margin in the second half to set program records for points in a half and points in a game.
Sophomore guard Nikki Tucker led four double-figure scorers with a school-record 38 points on 13-of-16 shooting from the floor, including 5-of-6 from the 3-point arc and 7-of-7 from the charity stripe.
Lauren Ellenberger, a 5-4 senior guard, added 18 points and a game-high 11 rebounds with Sarah Jones and Sigrid Sandstrom donating 16 points each.
Morgan Brunner came off the bench to hit 6 3-pointers and lead West Liberty with 22 points. Senior center
Marissa Brown once again struggled with foul trouble but still posted strong numbers with 20 points and 7 rebounds.
Brandi Beader and
Audrey Tingle rounded out the double-figure scorers for the Black and Gold with 14 and 10 points, respectively.
The Hilltoppers return home to host Urbana on Wednesday. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. at the ASRC.
