    WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The No. 2-ranked West Liberty University men's basketball team returns to the ASRC boards tonight against a familiar face in former West Virginia Conference rival Salem University.
    Coach Ben Howlett's Hilltoppers (1-1) and the unbeaten Tigers (2-0) will tip it off at 7:30 p.m.

    West Liberty led wire-to-wire on Saturday in rolling to a 94-80 victory against PSAC East preseason No. 1 West Chester (Pa.). Dalton Bolon knocked down 26 points for the second straight night to lead the way for the Black and Gold.
    Salem traveled to Pittsburgh on Sunday to hammer Carlow (Pa.) by a 110-81 score. Shawn Christian and Malik Toppin had 19 points each to pace six double-figure scorers for the Tigers.
    This is the 128th meeting between the former conference foes with Salem still holding a 66-61 series lead. West Liberty has won the last 11 encounters.
