WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The No. 2-ranked West Liberty University men's basketball team closes out the 2018-19 MEC/PSAC Conference Challenge tonight with a tough matchup against a veteran West Chester (Pa.) squad.

Ben Howlett's Hilltoppers and the Golden Rams are set for a 5 p.m. tipoff. The first game of today's doubleheader finds West Virginia Wesleyan taking on Kutztown (Pa.) in a 3 p.m. tilt.

Both teams are looking to bounce back from season-opening setbacks.
Kutztown blistered the nets at a 60 percent clip in the second half on Friday to rally past West Liberty, 107-97. The Black and Gold got 26 points and 10 rebounds from
Dalton Bolon along with 23 points from
Eric Meininger but it wasn't enough to tame the Golden Bears.
West Chester – picked No. 1 in the PSAC East by the league coaches – went 0-for-7 from the 3-point arc in the second half Friday as West Virginia Wesleyan pulled away to an 80-72 win. The Golden Rams got 17 points and 14 rebounds from Frank Rokins in a losing cause.
