WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The regionally-ranked West Liberty University volleyball team celebrated Senior Day here Saturday with a 3-0 sweep of UVa-Wise at the ASRC.
The careers of

Hannah Guidish,
Amanda Leonard and
Stephanie Leonard were recognized and celebrated in Senior Day ceremonies prior to the match.
Coach
Kayla Mull's Hilltoppers (21-8, 9-4) – No. 10 in this week's Atlantic Region rankings – came out smoking with a 25-12 win in the opening set. The Cavaliers (5-22, 2-11) went down by just a 25-23 count in the second set but WLU closed things out with a 25-15 romp in the third set.
Stephanie Leonard led all players with 9 kills while Benson chipped in with 8 kills and
Amanda Leonard and
Kailee Cunningham each had 6 kills.
Renee Lemke turned in another double-double with 26 assists and 12 digs while
Mackenzie Sims came up with a match-high 16 digs.
West Liberty hosts nationally-ranked Wheeling Jesuit on Tuesday in a special "Black-Out" match. First serve is set for 7 p.m. at the ASRC.
