    WISE, Va. – The West Liberty University volleyball team made short work of UVa-Wise on Saturday, needing less than an hour to complete a 3-0 sweep at the Prior Center.
    Coach Kayla Mull's Hilltoppers (17-13, 8-7) jumped on the Cavaliers (6-21, 2-11) right out of the box with a 25-18 win in the opening set. West Liberty took command of the match with a 25-23 victory in the second set before wrapping things up with a 25-13 blowout in the third and final set.
    Raimey Benson, Olivia Baumhoer and Sydney Scherer dominated play at the net for the Black and GoldBenson had 11 kills and 4 blocks with Baumhoer and Scherer adding 10 and 9 kills, respectively.
    Kendall Souder had a double-double with 19 assists and 10 digs to go along with a match-high 3 aces. Renee Lemke added 17 assists and Kailee Cunningham led all players with 15 digs.
    The West Liberty women close out the regular season on the road Friday with a 7 p.m. match at Urbana.
