GLENVILLE, W.Va. – The West Liberty University women's volleyball team breezed to a 3-0 shutout of winless Glenville State Tuesday night at the Waco Center.
Coach Kayla Mull's Hilltoppers (12-9, 3-3) outlasted the Pioneers (0-14, 0-6) by a 25-22 tally in the opening before dominating the final two sets, 25-11 and 25-17, to complete the sweep.
Raimey Benson led all players with a dozen kills and 4 blocks while
Olivia Baumhoer had 8 kills,
Morgan Farley weighed in with 7 kills and 4 blocks and
Stephanie Leonard contributed 6 kills, 3 blocks and a service ace.
Kendall Souder had a double-double with 22 assists and 10 digs while
Kailee Cunningham led the Black and Gold with 11 digs.
The West Liberty women head back out on the road Friday night for a 7 p.m. match at West Virginia Wesleyan.
