GLENVILLE, W.Va. – The No. 3-ranked West Liberty University men's basketball team rolled to its ninth straight win Saturday afternoon, routing Glenville State, 114-75, in Mountain East Conference action at the Waco Center.

Jim Crutchfield's Hilltoppers (24-2, 18-2) put the game on ice early, jumping out to a 20-point lead midway through the opening half and never letting off the gas in opening up a 69-32 gap at intermission.
The Black and Gold breezed through the final 20 minutes to finish off a season sweep of the Pioneers (10-16, 7-13). West Liberty had handed Glenville a 125-78 setback in last month's first meeting at the ASRC.
The Hilltoppers shot a blistering 61 percent (41-of-67) from the floor and from behind the 3-point arc (16-of-26) while holding Glenville State to 34 percent shooting from the floor (25-of-72) and 31 percent (11-of-35) on 3-point attempts.
Seger Bonifant paced five double-figure scorers for the Black and Gold with 23 points, despite watching most of the second half from the sidelines along with the rest of the WLU starters.
Zac Grossenbacher, who had a double-double by halftime with 16 points and 10 rebounds, was 4-for-4 from the 3-point arc to finish with 18 points and 12 boards.
David Dennis Jr. just missed a double-double with 19 points and 8 assists while
Brady Arnold and
Zak Kirkbride rounded out the double-figure scorers with 15 and 13 points, respectively.
Sedric Nady led all scorers for the hosts with 29 points but Juwan Wells was the only other Glenville player in double figures with 10 points.
The Hilltoppers return home for the final two games of the regular season. They return to action on Thursday when they host Urbana on Senior Night. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
