WLU Volleyball Falls in Charleston

Box Score CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The West Liberty University women's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision at the University of Charleston here Friday night.
Coach Kayla Mull's Hilltoppers (21-13, 9-6) bounced back from a 25-17 loss in the opening set to square the match with a 25-19 win in the second set. Charleston pulled out a hard-fought 25-23 nod in the third set before closing things out, 25-19, in the fourth and final set.
Caitlin Clarke had a big match for the Black and Gold with 13 kills and 10 digs while Amanda Leonard came up just shy of a triple-double with 8 kills, 21 assists and 11 digs. Stephanie Leonard added 10 kills and 4 blocks while Miranda Garmenn had 21 assists and Kailee Cunningham led all players with 22 digs.
The West Liberty women wrap up the regular season on Saturday with a 1 p.m. match at West Virginia State.
