                     CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Liberty University men's tennis team overwhelmed Concord, 5-0, in a Mountain East Conference Tournament semifinal here Saturday afternoon to punch its ticket into Sunday's MEC Tournament championship match.
Coach Sam McCullough's regular-season champion Hilltoppers (18-2) will take on No. 2 seed West Virginia Wesleyan (11-6) in Sunday's 1 p.m. tournament final. The Bobcats eliminated No. 3 seed Charleston, 5-3, in Saturday'sother semifinal. The Black and Gold handed Wesleyan a 6-3 loss in their lone regular-season meeting.
West Liberty wasted little time taking care of business against the Mountain Lions in Saturday's semifinal encounter.
The Hilltoppers swept all three doubles matches to grab a quick 3-0 lead.
Perrin picked up a quick win at No. 3 singles when his opponent retired after dropping the first set. Gutierrez closed out the match a few minutes later by wrapping up a 6-0 6-0 romp at No. 2 singles.
