Box Score INDIANA, Pa. – The West Liberty University women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 non-conference match at Indiana (Pa.) Tuesday night.
Coach Kayla Fetsko-Mull's Hilltoppers (11-12) stumbled out of the blocks with a 25-11 loss in the opening set but came back strong in the second set.
West Liberty reeled off four straight points to reach set point with a 25-24 lead only to see the Crimson Hawks (14-9) answer with three consecutive points to take a 27-25 nod. The hosts closed out the match with a 25-18 win in the third set.
The Hilltoppers return home on Friday for a 7 p.m. match against Fairmont State at the ASRC.
