Box Score PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The West Liberty University volleyball team had its three-match winning streak snapped in a 3-0 loss at NAIA power Point Park here Wednesday night.
Playing their second match in as many days, Coach
Kayla Fetsko's Hilltoppers (4-9) came out on the short end of three consecutive 25-20 scores as the host Pioneers (14-7) claimed their seventh home win without a loss this season.
Nicole Sadecky had 7 kills for West Liberty while
Sydney Scherer weighed in with 6 kills and 6 blocks.
Chelsea Byrge had a productive evening with 6 kills, 2 service aces and 3 blocks to go along with 14 assists and 10 digs.
Megan Lawless chipped in with 11 digs for the Black and Gold.
The Lady Hilltoppers continue their busy week at home on Friday when they host Mountain East Conference rival UVA-Wise in a 7 p.m. match at the ASRC.
