West Liberty had trailed by 11 points, 71-60, with less than 6 minutes left in regulation before forcing several turnovers with an aggressive full-court press to take a late lead.
A pair of
Liz Flowers free throws put WLU on top, 76-75, for the first time since the opening half with just
1:36 to play. The Hilltoppers forced another turnover and ran the shot clock down into single digits before
Jasmin Kiley knifed down the lane for a 78-75 lead with 52 ticks remaining.
