Box Score WISE, Va. – The surging West Liberty University volleyball team breezed to its fourth straight MEC win and moved over the .500 mark in league play here Friday night with a 3-0 romp at Virginia-Wise.

Kayla Fetsko's Hilltoppers (11-14, 6-5) pulled into a fifth-place tie with Shepherd after handling the host Cavaliers (6-16, 1-9) in straight sets by scores of 25-20, 25-16 and 27-25.
Chelsea Bertie and
Rachel Zeigler led the Black and Gold attack with 9 and 8 kills, respectively.
Nicole Sadecky had a big night with 6 kills, 10 digs, 3 blocks and 2 service aces while
Peyton Miller was charted with a match-high 7 blocks to go along with 6 kills and an ace.
Chelsea Byrge led West Liberty with 17 assists and
Courtney Pyeritz was charted with a dozen digs.
The Hilltoppers return home to host league-leading and No. 23-ranked Wheeling Jesuit Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the ASRC.
