Box Score     WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University women's volleyball team ran out of gas in dropping a three-set match to the University of Charleston Saturday morning at the ASRC.
    Coach Kayla Fetsko's Hilltoppers (10-9, 2-3), coming off a tough home loss to West Virginia State on Friday night, battled the Golden Eagles (7-10, 2-1) on virtually even terms in the early stages of the quick turnaround match.
    West Liberty led midway through each of the first two sets only to come up short at the end by scores of 25-22 and 26-24. Charleston led virtually wire-to-wire in the third set, closing out the match with a 25-15 nod.
    Anne Edwards had 9 kills and 4 blocks to pace the Hilltoppers while Nikki Sadecky added 8 kills, a block and 11 digs. Rachel Zeigler finished with 6 kills, 4 blocks, a dozen digs and a service ace while Ali Kowalski led the team with 14 digs.
    The Hilltoppers hit the road on Tuesday for a 6 p.m. match at West Virginia Wesleyan.
