Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The West Liberty University volleyball team came away with a split here Saturday afternoon in a triangular with Kentucky State and host Cedarville at the Callan Athletic Center.
    Coach Kayla Fetsko's Hilltoppers (5-6) blew out KSU (4-9) in three sets before dropping a three-set match to the powerful Yellow Jackets (11-1).
    West Liberty had no trouble with Kentucky State, wrapping a pair of 25-19 wins around a 25-8 rout in the middle set.
    Nikki Sadecky led the way with 7 kills and 3 service aces while Anne Edwards, Rachel Zeigler and Michaela Hawkins all were charted with 5 kills. Chelsea led all players with 19 assists while Ali Kowalski topped the 'Toppers with 8 digs.
    The Hilltoppers put up a good fight against the hosts but wound up yielding by scores of 25-21, 25-20 and 25-16.
    Zeigler had 8 kills while Edwards finished with 6 kills and 4 blocks. Byrge had 15 assists while Courtney Pyeritz added 19 digs.
    West Liberty returns to West Virginia Conference play on Tuesday with a 6 p.m. match at Pitt-Johnstown.
