    PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The West Liberty University women's volleyball team bounced back from a pair of tough losses on Friday to sweep both of their Saturday matches and earn a 2-2 split in this weekend's Point Park Invitational at the Greentree SportsPlex.

    Senior outside hitter Melissa Pierzchala capped an outstanding four-game performance by earning a spot on the six-woman All-Tournament Team.

    Coach Brooke Turner's Hilltoppers improved to 4-5 on the season with Saturday's victories against Carlow (Pa.) and Ohio Valley. West Liberty defeated Carlow, 25-15, 25-21, 23-25 and 25-13, before sweeping OVU by scores of 25-11, 25-17 and 25-12.

    The Black-and-Gold had dropped a pair of 3-0 decisions on Friday to Notre Dame (Ohio) and the host Pioneers.

    The West Liberty women return to West Virginia Conference play on Tuesday when they host West Virginia Wesleyan in a 7 p.m. match at the ASRC.
