WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University men's tennis team won its third straight match on Wednesday, rolling to an 8-1 blowout of Fairmont State at the Edgar Martin Tennis Complex.
Coach Sam McCullough's Hilltoppers swept the three doubles matches and coasted to straight-set wins in five of the six singles matches.
Erik Jahreskog, Ayman Barakat, Alex Conway, Andy Sickles and Darren Fields were victorious in singles action for West Liberty.
Barakat teamed with Erik Jahreskog for the win at No. 1 doubles with Alex Fager and Sickles prevailing at No. 2 doubles. Conway and Fields combined for the victory at No. 3 doubles.
Coach Sam McCullough's netters host Concord Saturday at 3 p.m.
