FAIRMONT, W.Va. – The West Liberty University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Fairmont State at the Feaster Center on Wednesday night.
The host Falcons (17-11, 6-4) started fast and never looked back in breezing to a 25-9, 25-19, 25-9 sweep of Coach Brooke Turner's Hilltoppers (9-15, 4-9).
Anne Edwards and
Melissa Pierzchala led West Liberty with 5 kills each while
Chelsea Byrge had 7 assists and 9 digs, both team-highs.
West Liberty returns home to host Shepherd on Friday in a 6 p.m. match at the ASRC.
