Quincy Wimbish Jr. recorded the most rushing yards of any player in a game this season in the Mountain East Conference, with 211 yards off of 23 carries and scored two touchdowns. Both scores came in the second quarter capitalizing on Concord turnovers. Wimbish broke loose for 52 yards the first play after a fumble to get WLU on the board. He followed that up the next drive with three straight runs to punch it in after a second consecutive Concord fumble. Wimbish also posted a 72-yard run to set up the Hilltoppers go-ahead score in the second quarter. The 72-yard run was the longest of the week in the MEC and 4th longest on the season.
