Hunter Patterson headlined the Hilltoppers trip to the Spire Collegiate Indoor Games on Sarturday racing to school record times in the men's 60m and 200m. The freshman placed fourth in the 60m dash with a 6.88, breaking his own previous school record of 6.89, after qualifying with a prelim time of 6.90. In the 200m, Patterson finished in seventh place with a 22.15 beating the school record by 0.09 seconds, which he previously tied on January 28 at the YSU College Mid Major.

Patterson now ranks third in both the 60m and 200m races in the Mountain East.
