Corinne Thomas averaged 17.5 points and went 10-for-14 (71.4%) from three point range in a huge 2-0 week for West Liberty. Thomas made each of her first four three-point attempts and finished with 12 points, while adding seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block in the midweek win over No. T24 West Virginia State, the first win over a ranked opponent since January of 2017. Then, she drained six three pointers and finished with 23 points, five of her threes and 17 of her points came in the second half to lead the comeback effort over RV Charleston. WLU trailed by as many as 18 points and battled back to force overtime, then went on to win by double digits.
