Combs set the school record in pole vault clearing 3.35m at the Youngstown State University Mid Major Invitational, just one week after tying the school record. She started the day by going over the 3.05m and 3.20m bars on her first tries. Then, on her third and final attempt Combs vaulted over 3.35m (10ft, 11.75 in) taking sole possession of the school record. The Nashport, Ohio native was also named the Mountain East Conference Athlete of the Week for her record-breaking performance.
