Jordan Burkholder is in his first season as a graduate assistant coach with the West Liberty University wrestling program.
The Crooksville, Ohio native comes to the hilltop after wrapping up a stellar athletic and academic career at NCAA Division III Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio.
A 3-time Academic All-American, Burkholder was an Ohio Athletic Conference champion and NCAA Division III national qualifier as the Central Regional runner-up at 125 pounds as a senior. He won tournament championships at the Waynesburg Invitational, Washington & Jefferson Invitational and the Ohio Northern Invitational on his way to a sparkling 30-4 record.
The son of Greg and Angie Burkholder, Jordan graduated from Muskingum with a degree in Health and Physical Education/Health and Fitness. He is working on his master's in Sports Leadership and Coaching at West Liberty.
