Patrick Harris begins his fourth season as West Liberty’s assistant women’s soccer coach this fall.
A four-year starter at Edwards County High School in Albion, Ill., Harris began his collegiate career with Mid-Continent University in Mayfield, Ky. He helped the Cougars to a third-place finish in the 2008 NCCAA tournament as a freshman before transferring to the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Ind.
Moving to the sidelines at the NCAA Division II school, Harris spent four years as the lead student manager with the Eagles’ men's team and was hired as a full-time assistant coach by head coach Mat Santoro after graduating with a degree in Social Science (Secondary Education).
He spent one season as an assistant coach at USI before bringing his coaching talents to the hilltop.
A member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and the West Virginia Olympic Development Program, Harris and his wife, Kristen, reside in the Wheeling area.
