2026 Women's Cross Country Roster
Biography
High School: Competed in cross country and track & field at Edison High School in Richmond, Ohio, under coaches Dawn Cable (cross country) and Jason Fogle (track & field). A four-year letterwinner and four-year starter for the Wildcats. Helped lead Edison to three straight OVAC Cross Country Championships (2023-25), regional qualifying teams in 2023 and 2024, and a state qualifying team in 2025. A multiple-time All-OVAC selection, she earned All-Ohio honors and qualified for the OHSAA State Championships in 2025 and 2026. She was also named the State Farm Athlete of the Week in 2021 and won a Buckeye 8 Championship in 2021 and 2022.
Off the Course: Josie is the daughter of Wendy and Brian Lesnansky. Her older sister, Morgan Lesnansky, competed in cross country and track & field at West Liberty. She is majoring in Nursing and plans to earn a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree while pursuing a career in pediatric healthcare.
