Callaway Barr is from Austin, TX and she attended Vandergrift High School where she played softball for Coach Sarah Clark. Callaway lettered in softball all four years and was Vandergrift’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2012-2013. Callaway was selected to the All- Central Texas Senior All-Star team and was her team’s Most Valuable Player from her sophomore year through her senior year. Callaway was also an All-District Selection (District 25-5a). Callaway works just as hard in the classroom as she does on the diamond, while being in the top 10% of the National Honor Society as well as an Advanced Principals Scholar. Callaway was Academic All-District (2012-2015) and she made National Honor Roll from 2012 through 2015.  
 
Some interesting Information about Callaway… “I went on a mission trip to Istanbul. I have a 23lb, 3-legged cat named Leo.”
