Former West Liberty University standout Dominique Hudson returns for his second full season as an assistant coach for Coach Justin Simpson’s Hilltopper track and field program.
   Hudson made a name for himself as one of the top throwers in school history from 2016-19, setting multiple school records and earning All-Mountain East Conference honors in several events. A 2-time All-MEC selection, Hudson holds the West Liberty indoor records in the shot and weight throw and is also the Hilltoppers’ outdoor standard-bearer in the shot and discus events.
   The former multi-sport athlete at Meade (Md.) High School holds a Sport Management degree from WLU and spent the last two seasons as a graduate assistant with the Hilltopper program while completing his master’s degree. Dominique is the son of Leslie Hudson and Tammi Hudson.
