Bob Cicogna

Veteran Ohio Valley track coach Bob Cicogna heads into his fifth season as an assistant coach with Coach Justin Simpson’s West Liberty University track and field program.
Working primarily with the team's sprinters, jumpers and hurdlers, Cicogna has made his presence felt at WLU. During his time on the hilltop, his athletes have shattered several school records and stadium marks with Isaiah Robinson emerging as one of the elite triple-jumpers in the region.
Cicogna spent nearly two decades as a highly-successful teacher and coach at River High School in Hannibal, Ohio. During his time with the Pilots, River racked up 10 Ohio Valley Athletic Conference championships. Four of his athletes claimed Ohio state championships with dozens moving on to compete at the collegiate level.
The Hilltopper assistant is now in his 29th year teaching chemistry and biology at River and has served as the school's National Honor Society advisor for the past 16 years.
    Bob resides in Shadyside, Ohio
