Biography

Prior to WLU: Spent two seasons at Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pa., where he was a two-year starter under head coach Bret Altimore. Helped lead the Phoenix to two postseason appearances during his collegiate career.

High School: Played at Spring Hill High School in Spring Hill, Tenn., under head coach Sadiq. Served as a two-year team captain.

Club: Competed with TSC ECNL in Nashville, Tenn.

Off the Field: Omar is the son of Maribel Gomez and Mariano Cortez. He is majoring in Exercise Physiology.
