Owain Hawkins kicks off his second year as a graduate assistant coach with the West Liberty University men’s soccer program.
Hawkins came to WLU following a stellar collegiate career at nearby Wheeling University. A 4-year starter for the Cardinals, Hawkins earned All-MEC honors as a junior and played in more than 60 games as a defender. He was charted with 4 goals and 8 assists in his four seasons.
The son of Julie and John Hawkins, Owain graduated from Wheeling with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Business Marketing. He is working toward his master’s degree at West Liberty.
