2025-26 Men's Golf Roster
Biography
2025-26 (Junior): Competed in 11 tournaments for the Hilltoppers, helping West Liberty earn another NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional berth. Recorded three top-15 finishes and six top-40 finishes during the season, highlighted by a ninth-place finish at the Mountain East Conference Championship. Cook earned All-Mountain East Conference Second Team honors following his top-10 finish at the league championship. Opened the spring by tying for 13th at the Larry and Wally Edgell Battle at Brunswick before adding a 26th-place finish at the Vulcan Fire Classic, 32nd at the Bedford Springs Invitational and 42nd at the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional.
2024-25 (SOPHOMORE)
Competed in four spring tournaments for the Hilltoppers, including the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regional. Posted his best finish of the season with a tie for 49th at the West Liberty Men's Spring Invitational before adding a 52nd-place finish at the Cecil C. Spadafora IUP Invitational.
2023-24 (FRESHMAN)
Competed in seven tournaments during his freshman campaign. Turned in three top-15 finishes, highlighted by an 11th-place finish at the Mountain East Conference Spring Championship and a 15th-place showing at the Mercyhurst Laker Spring Invitational. Also competed at the Atlantic/East Regional Preview and the 2023 MEC Championship.

Played at John Marshall High School in Glen Dale, W.Va. … OVAC Golf Runner-Up Medalist (2022) … OVAC Wrestling Champion … Three-time All-State wrestler … Earned All-Valley honors in golf, wrestling and baseball in 2022 and 2023.
Off the Course:
Ethan is the son of Shannon and Steve Cook. He has one brother, Landon. He is majoring in Health and Physical Education.
