Yale Hughes attended Cortland High School and played baseball for Coach Ben Albright. Yale lettered in football, basketball, and golf. Yale was 1st team all-state in football and basketball. Yale majors in Exercise Physiology and minors in Chemistry at West Liberty University. 

HS Notable Stats: 3rd all-time shot blocker at Cortland High School.

Academic Honors: Salutatorian
