West Liberty, W.Va. - West Liberty senior Timber Huysmans (Humbeek, Belgium) earns Hilltopper of the Week honors after a record-breaking performance at the Mountain East Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships at Marshall University.
Huysmans headlined the men's sprint events by placing second in the 200 meters with a school-record time of 21.39. The mark not only earned eight team points but also ranks No. 26 nationally in NCAA Division II, solidifying his position among the top sprinters in the country.
He also scored in the 60-meter finals, finishing seventh with a time of 7.02 to contribute additional team points in a highly competitive field.
