WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. — West Liberty University sophomore Gabe Blissenbach has been named the Mountain East Conference Co-Wrestler of the Week, presented by The Health Plan, following a dominant performance at the Fairmont State Open.

A native of Lisbon, Ohio, Blissenbach captured the 174-pound championship, powering his way through a competitive field with multiple bonus-point victories. He capped off his impressive run in emphatic fashion, securing the tournament title with a decisive technical fall in the championship bout.

The Hilltoppers will return to action this weekend at the NWCA national duals in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
