WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. — The West Liberty University men's soccer team has officially announced its 2025 schedule, with Head Coach Sean Regan set to lead the Hilltoppers into his seventh season at the helm. After securing three consecutive trips to the Mountain East Conference (MEC) Tournament, WLU will look to continue that momentum with a competitive slate featuring a mix of conference clashes and regional matchups.

The Hilltoppers kick off the season under the lights at home on September 4, welcoming Seton Hill for a 7:00 p.m. start at the West Family Athletic Complex. Just three days later, they host MEC rival Wheeling on September 7 at 3:30 p.m., marking an early test in conference play.

Road trips to Davis & Elkins (Sept. 10), California (Pa.) (Sept. 13), and Frostburg State (Sept. 17) round out a tough early September stretch, before the team returns home to host Concord on September 21 at 1:00 p.m. 

Point Park University, appears twice on the Hilltoppers' conference slate. WLU hosts the Pioneers on September 24 (7:00 p.m.) and visits Pittsburgh for the return leg on October 8 (7:30 p.m.).

Non-conference opponent Salem University also appears twice, with WLU visiting the Tigers on September 28 (1:00 p.m.) and hosting them on October 25 (1:00 p.m.).

October features a pivotal run of MEC contests that could shape the postseason picture. The Hilltoppers visit perennial power Charleston on October 1 (7:00 p.m.) before a home match with West Virginia Wesleyan on October 5 (3:30 p.m.). WLU hosts Davis & Elkins on October 15 at 5:00 p.m., then welcomes Frostburg State back to the hilltop on October 19 (1:00 p.m.).

The regular season concludes with a final home stand against Charleston on October 29 (6:00 p.m.), followed by back-to-back away games at Concord (November 1, 1:00 p.m.) and Wheeling (November 5, 7:00 p.m.).

Coach Regan's squad will rely on veteran leadership and a battle-tested roster as they aim for another strong run in MEC play.
