West Liberty Women’s Tennis Secures Road Victory at Frostburg State; Men Fall to Bobcats

Frostburg, Md. – The West Liberty University women's tennis team earned a hard-fought 4-3 Mountain East Conference road victory over Frostburg State on Tuesday night, while the men's team fell 7-0 to the Bobcats.

Leading the charge for the Hilltoppers, No. 1 singles player Evelina Martirosyan remained unbeaten, improving to 9-0 on the season with a commanding 6-0, 6-3 win over Alyssa Kush. Omolade Aderemi continued her impressive season as well, securing an 8-1 record in No. 2 singles play with a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Patricia Castejohn.

Martirosyan and Aderemi also teamed up for a crucial win in No. 1 doubles, defeating Kush and Lorena Pintar 6-4. Kylee Freeman and Mia Camilletti sealed another doubles victory for the Hilltoppers, winning the No. 3 match 6-4 over Femke Hofkamp and Ava Waddell.
