West Liberty, W.Va. – The West Liberty University men's and women's tennis teams are heading south for their spring break trip, set to compete in a series of matches in Hilton Head, S.C.

The Hilltopper women's team is off to a strong start, holding a 1-0 record after securing a dominant 4-0 victory over Franciscan University in their season opener. Meanwhile, the men's team enters the trip with a 1-1 record after their match against Franciscan was suspended due to darkness.

Both teams will begin competition on Saturday, facing off against Chowan University at 5 p.m. The action continues on Sunday as the Hilltoppers take on Dickinson College at noon.

Midweek competition will see the women's team playing the College of St. Mary (Indiana) on Tuesday at 3 p.m., while the men's team squares off against Hillsdale College at 5:30 p.m. On Wednesday, the women will take on Shepherd University at 1 p.m., with the men also set to face Franciscan University at 1 p.m.
