West Liberty, W.Va. – The No. 9/10-ranked West Liberty University men's wrestling team is gearing up for a busy weekend with a dual meet at Ashland University on Friday followed by the John Summa Invitational at Baldwin Wallace on Saturday.
Recent Performance
The Hilltoppers are coming off a strong showing at the Mountain East Conference (MEC) Championships, where two-time national champion Ty McGeary made history by winning his fourth consecutive MEC individual championship.

McGeary dominated Glenville State's Kyle Homet in the 184-lb. final, earning a 14-6 major decision.

The victory marked his third straight title at 184 lbs., following his 174-lb. championship in 2022.

He also secured his fourth First-Team All-MEC honor, further solidifying his place among the greatest wrestlers in program history.
