West Liberty, W.Va. - West Liberty University's Trinity Howard has been named this week's Hilltopper of the Week after delivering a strong 3–1 performance at the Gannon Duals on Saturday.
Competing at 117 pounds, Howard opened the day with a dominant showing in West Liberty's 50–0 shutout win over Waynesburg, earning a first-period fall in just 1:17. She followed that with one of the Hilltoppers' key victories against host Gannon, where she defeated Hannah McCarley by 19–8 VSU1 (5:34), securing her second win of the afternoon.
Howard's consistency and competitive edge anchored the lineup throughout the event, helping the Hilltoppers post a solid 2–2 team finish while closing the day with a strong win over Otterbein.
The West Liberty women's wrestling team is back in action this weekend, traveling to Heidelberg to compete in the Berg Holiday Duals on Saturday.
