West Liberty, W.Va. - West Liberty heavyweight Parker Bentley has been named the Hilltopper of the Week after a dominant 5–0 performance that earned him the 285-pound championship at the Little State Invitational on Saturday at Manchester University.

Bentley powered his way through the bracket with bonus-point wins in every match leading up to the finals. After receiving an opening-round bye, he wasted no time establishing control, pinning Midway's Anthony Popi in three minutes. He followed with a 17–2 technical fall in the quarterfinals and a 16–2 major decision in the semifinals—both victories coming against Indiana Tech opponents.

In the championship match, Bentley capped his perfect day with a 5–0 decision over Lourdes heavyweight Collin Sullivan to secure the title.

He and the Hilltoppers return to Indiana this weekend to compete in the Midwest Classic in Indianapolis Saturday and Sunday.
