WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. — After leading the West Liberty University men's golf team with a top-10 finish at the Mountain East Conference Championship, junior standout Justin Doerr has been named the Men's Hilltopper of the Week.

Doerr delivered a consistent performance over three days at The Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, W.Va., finishing seventh overall at +5 (74-74-73) to pace the Hilltoppers. His steady play helped West Liberty secure a fifth-place team finish in a strong field that featured all ten MEC programs.

The Hilltoppers closed the tournament with their best round of the week, posting a team total of +8 on the final day to finish at +46 overall. West Liberty will wrap up its fall season October 19–21 at the Bluefield Invitational hosted at Fincastle Golf Course in Bluefield, W.Va.
