WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – For the first time this season, the West Liberty women's soccer team will compete on their home pitch on Sunday afternoon. The Hilltoppers host the Falcons of Fairmont State at West Family Athletic Complex Sunday, September 15. Kickoff for the Mountain East Conference contest is set for 1:00 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY:
The Hilltoppers and Fighting Falcons have met on a total of 19 occasions. The Falcons hold the all-time series lead, 3-8-8. The Falcons have been victorious in the last four outings against the Hilltoppers. WLU's first postseason appearance and victory was against Fairmont State on October 30, 2018. The match was tied at the end of regulation and the Hilltoppers edged the Falcons in penalty kicks that day, 7-6.
