West Liberty,W.Va. - The West Liberty University men's wrestling team fresh off of a runner-up performance in the season opening Mount Union Invite travels to Pitt-Johnstown for a Thursday dual. This is a match up of top 20 NWCA preseason ranked teams, The Hilltoppers enter at No.18 and the Mountain Cats No.10. 

In last Saturday's tournament the Hilltoppers had several impressive performances, starting at 125-pounds were freshman Logan Davis went 4-0 on the day capturing his weight class. Fellow freshman Treygen Morin went 2-1 and was the runner-up at 133 lbs. At 157 lbs. Jordan Watters went 3-1 and was the runner-up, while at 167 lbs. Alec Cook was 4-1 and finished third. At 174 lbs. Oliver Byerly was second and Carter Winegardner was third. All-American Ty McGeary was 3-0 on the day, capturing the 184 lb. weight class. At 197 lbs. newcomer Devon Bell was a perfect 4-0 while taking first and Luke Justice earned third. Finally, Parker Bentley went 3-1 on the day and was runner-up at 285.

Since 2004-05, the HIlltoppers are 3-16 against UPJ, but last season they defeated the No.14 ranked Mountain Cats 20-14 at the ASRC.
