West Liberty,W.Va. - The West Liberty University men's soccer team picked up their first Mountain East Conference home win Wednesday night with a 1-0 victory over Point Park at the West Family Athletic Complex. Lachlan Quate was able to put home a loose ball in the box in the 42nd minute for his first goal of the season and the game winning goal. Hilltopper goalkeeper Colton Callen stopped all seven shots he faced to earn the clean sheet. With the win the Hilltoppers improve to 4-5-2 overall and 2-5-1 in MEC play. West Liberty will enjoy some time off before visiting Davis & Elkins next Wednesday.
