Hilltoppers Look to Remain Perfect on the Road at Frostburg State

West Liberty, W.Va. – The West Liberty University men's soccer team puts their 2-0 road record on the line Wednesday night as they travel to Frostburg State. The Hilltoppers and the Bobcats are scheduled for a 5 p.m. kickoff at Bobcat Stadium.

WEST LIBERTY STORYLINES
  • West Liberty enters Wednesday's match with a record of 2-1-2 (1-1-1 MEC) on the season and is currently tied for fourth in the Mountain East Conference standings with four points through three matches.
  • In their last game, the Hilltoppers battled to a 1-1 draw against Salem, scoring in the 29th minute on a goal by Mark Donnelly to take the lead before the Tigers tied the match early in the second half.
  • The Black & Gold re-entered the United Soccer Coaches Atlantic Region rankings this week, coming in at No. 9 in the region.
  • Mark Donnelly leads West Liberty and is tied for second in the MEC with three goals on the year. Vitor Otsuka and Zachary Forehand have both found the back of the net twice this season.
