Hilltoppers Travel to Fairmont State for MEC Opener

West Liberty, W.Va. – The West Liberty University women's soccer team will open Mountain East Conference play on Sunday afternoon with a road contest at Fairmont State. The Hilltoppers and Falcons are scheduled for a 1 p.m. kickoff at Duvall-Rosier Field in Fairmont, West Virginia.

WEST LIBERTY STORYLINES
  • West Liberty enters Sunday's match with a record of 0-1-1 on the season, following a 2-2 draw in their home opener to Pitt-Johnstown last Sunday.
  • The Hilltoppers have had three players score goals this season, as Amelia Compston leads the way with two and Mia Zecca and Asia Espiritu have each found the back of the net twice.
  • Four different WLU players have assisted on goals this season, with Compston, Zecca, Isabella Aperfine, and Abigail Barki each with one.
