HOW IT HAPPENED
  • West Liberty's best scoring opportunity of the first half came in the 33rd minute as Jasper Newton collected a pass in open space just outside of the box and fired a shot on target towards the top left corner of the net, however Danilo Abayo Wilson made the diving save attempt to knock the ball out of play.
  • The lone goal in Sunday's MEC match-up came in the 34th minute as Carlos Almeida drew a foul inside the box trying to turn the corner towards the goal with the ball. Almeida proceeded to score on the ensuing penalty kick, placing the ball into the left corner of the net.
