Men's Golf Finishes Second at Malone Fall Classic

ALLIANCE, Ohio - The West Liberty University men's golf team shot a 297 in the final round of the Malone Fall Classic to jump three spots up the final leaderboard earlier today. The Hilltoppers finished in second place out of nine teams, only trailing the host school, Malone.

Noah Seivertson shot a tournament-low 69, the best round of the day out of all 56 golfers. The sophomore ended the classic with a two-round total of 147 at a tie for sixth, up 20 spots from round one.

Alex Easthom had the best two-day finish for West Liberty, finishing in second place on the individual leaderboard. He charted a 72 for a tournament score of 142, ending just two strokes behind the leader.

Bo Orecchio shot an identical round to yesterday with another 76, tying for 16th place. Derek Graham carded an 80 to round out the scoring for the Hilltoppers.

West Liberty will continue its four-day stretch of outings tomorrow with the opening round of the Vulcan Invitational, hosted by California University (Pa.).
