WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – Unbeaten and No. 3-ranked Davis & Elkins scored two quick goals here Wednesday and never looked back in handing West Liberty a 6-0 loss in Mountain East Conference men's soccer action at the West Family Athletic Complex.
     The visiting Senators (15-0-2, 12-0-2) struck quickly, getting an unassisted goal from Theo Sainte-Rose in the 6th minute and adding another score by David Jara in the 9th minute.
     Coach Sean Regan's Hilltoppers (6-11-0, 5-10-0) regrouped on the defensive end to keep Davis & Elkins off the board for the rest of the half but the damage had already been done. The Senators made it 3-0 with a penalty kick in the opening minutes of the second half and coasted the rest of the way.
     The West Liberty men close out the 2021 season on Saturday with a 6 p.m. match at Wheeling.
